BSTU “VOENMEH” named after D.F. Ustinov – Innovation and Technical Progress

Baltic State Technical University “VOENMEKH” named after D.F. Ustinov is a a world-famous state university, that offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate educational programs. It offers education in engineering and technical specialties such as rocket technology, aviation engineering, information security, electronics and others.

The establishment of BSTU “VOENMEH” involved prominent figures in science and technology, including A.A. Blagonravov, M.F. Vasilyev, V.N. Kudryavtsev, P.F. Papkovich, I.I. Ivanov, M.Ya. Krupchatnikov, V.A. Mikeladze, B.N. Okunev, I.P. Ginzburg and others.

Since its foundation, BSTU “VOENMEH” named after D.F. Ustinov has graduated over 60,000 specialists, among whom are more than 30 Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of Socialist Labor, 22 laureates of the Lenin Prize, and 159 laureates of State Prizes.

Necessary documentation to enroll in a University:

  • The original documents on education or on education and on qualification (degree) with a full list of subjects studied and grades obtained on them
  • Notarized translation into Russian of educational documents and grades in the subjects studied (or certified by the Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation in the country where the educational documents were issued)
  • The copies of documents certifying the identity and citizenship of the applicant (the first two pages of the passport / ID)
